This book changed my life, or maybe saved my life. I suffer from Borderline Personality Disorder and Extreme Panic Disorder, so as I jumped into this book I was so unbelievable shock to see my self in Jessica. She was me and I was her and it scared me to death at how the book may effect me. Loving and losing is so incredibly hard, but loving and losing with BPD and EPD is devastating, it beats you down and slices more than the skin you are craving up. Think about the relationships you have with the people in your life, you people please, when you dislike someone, you walk away, when you lose someone you cry and you carry on. Me and Jessica on the other hand don't people please, when we hate you, you are the A$$ of every joke, we passive aggressively destroy you on social media, and when we lose someone we consider our life over as well. So for the loved ones who do love us with the problems we have fear everyday for what kind of destruction we can pull off. Every word spoke to me, every fiber was streched tight and the emotion that bubbled to the surface was earth shattering and then I learned that the beloved author herself is a suicide survivor herself. She too has been there and can relate to you fears and on more than one occasion has been my savior. Kathryn has become a best friend to me, and I a snowflake to her. I talk to her on a daily basis. So when I say I gave this book 5 Snowflakes, its for more than the friendship, it's the story of a person like me and how we can make it, we can succeed. Since I read therapy I have returned to college and have a 4.0 and am about to move to my sophomore year of college. This book has so much power and if you don't read it, you are missing out. Kathryn, I love you dearly and see a successful future ahead of you. BRAVO lovely lady.
P.S. Read the Note from the Author!!!!
